ACH HIGH CUT I

The basis of the ballistic helmet is a low-profile shell of the ACH shape with a high cut (HIGH CUT). The ACH shell replaced the previously used and long outdated PASGT type by lowering the overall shell, higher cut in the occipital part of the shell and on the side parts. This has resulted in a significant reduction in weight but at the same time increased compatibility with the integrated communications equipment.

The advantage of the fully equipped ballistic helmet ACH HIGH CUT I is the high ballistic resistance parameters combined with the achievement of perfect results and resistance in the field of absorption effects in terms of reducing the kinetic energy generated after mechanical impacts, jump and various types of combat activity, kinetic energy generated after the impact of small arms projectiles, reflected projectiles and shrapnel. All this with the low weight of the whole, fully retrofitted ballistic helmet and the low thickness of the composite shell itself and the individual elements of the internal equipment (PADS pads).

The internal system of the PADS ALFA 01 pads used is the same as in the ACH MID CUT II and I helmets, providing the aforementioned protection and user comfort. Thanks to their low thickness and elaborate four-point strap system - strapping, the helmet fits everyone nicely and the whole system also thinks about individual and solutions corresponding to the disposition of each fighter.

The large space around the ears thanks to the HIGH CUT allows the use of communication headsets with or without active listening. The reduced profile of the helmet especially in the ear area provides excellent compatibility with different types of communication devices.

The shape of the shell provides a wide field of vision and 4 holes for mounting a four-point mounting system providing also the possibility of additional fitting of the ballistic helmet with side rails (rails), for example for mounting and adding tactical equipment with flashlight, gas mask, etc. The edge of the shell is fitted with a rubber rim around the entire perimeter.
